Cayman Islands border is now open

Quarantine is not required for:

• Fully vaccinated travellers.
• Caymanians/Permanent Residents who were fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine (locally or overseas).
• Unvaccinated children age 11 and younger who are assuming the vaccinated status of their adult travel companions.

Travel Requirements

(Before and During Travel)

To ensure the health and safety of all person travelling to the Cayman Islands, all travellers must:

1. Apply to the Travel Cayman portal for an official Certificate to Travel by requesting a Travel Declaration.
2. Be fully vaccinated by a WHO approved vaccine.
3. Take a pre-arrival polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or Rapid Antigen Test test no later than 24 hours prior to departure with a negative result.

What tests will be accepted?

• Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) Test
• Accepted antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic, commonly referred to as a Lateral Flow Test (LFT)
